Animatic with music (+ edits made after feedback)

This is the full animatic but this time with juggling implemented into the latter half for increased comedy and characterisation for Meryl since Lucy and I wanted to highlight further that this character is definitely not as experienced at performing as Trinket the Clown.
Modified this scene so that it has a close up of Meryl’s feet walking the tightrope for
1) Increased shot variety
2) So that production can be made easier since there is less to draw.
This video is the roughest and earliest version of the animatic that was made, it was before I went in to figure out how each scene would flow into the next.

Feedback (25.01.2023)

Tips on how to refine the film as it is so far.
Small beat changes to the following scenes:
– The muslim nurse should look up at patient 1, then he should sit down. The timing should be offset. Any other areas where offsetting movement timings is possible, it should be done.
– The scene where the wife and child look sad before getting the health plan should be held for a few frames longer because at the moment it is too quick.

– The clipboard that appears when the health plan is mentioned, the smiley face can be changed to look less happy. (danger of looking too positive needs to be mitigated)
– Proposed transition (see previous blog posts) should be implemented
– More small movements to make each scene flow into the next and make the fim in general feel less static can be added. (e.g: family in the last few scenes should move, patient can show a reaction when he recieves flowers)

Aiming to implement some of these changes in time for client delivery.
